Approaching Villa Mati na Moya you already get the impressive view of the Klein-Drakensberg mountains which can also be enjoyed from the patio of the Villa. Air and water (Mati na Moya in Tsonga) surround the elegant Villa in the middle of the vibrant African landscape.
The Zandspruit River, which also feeds the three dams in the Zandspruit Wilderness Area, borders the property, and the air around Villa Mati na Moya is full of mysterious sounds and the scent of blossoming bush vegetation.
The sophisticated colour design of Villa Mati na Moya runs along this motto of water and air, hence while one bedroom reflects the green waters of Zandspruit, the other bedroom represents the deep blue skies of Africa. Both rooms have luxurious en-suite bathrooms that follow this color concept and provide ample space for relaxed wellness. The outdoor showers are just bliss on warm summer mornings.
While one bedroom boasts a generous super king size bed, the other bedroom offers two queen size beds which can be converted to a super king size bed as required. All are fitted with high end mattresses and bed linen for utmost comfort.
If necessary, work can be done in the state of the art office equipped with Wifi, LAN- cable, a huge desk and comfortable office-armchairs. Or laze on the daybed, nestled in a snug niche with your laptop looking out into nature and by-passing deer for creative inputs. But who wants to think about work when you can have a drink or enjoy culinary delights with friends or family?
Villa Mati na Moya's kitchen is fully equipped for such culinary adventures, with a Nespresso machine, huge fridge including Ice-making facility and all necessary utensils. The Villeroy & Boch tableware lends exclusivity to your table setting.
On cooler winter days, meals are taken by the crackling open fire in the elegant living/dining room and in summer on the spacious terrace surrounding the glistening pool. Adjoining the patio is a huge relaxation area in the sunken boma. Sunbathe during the day and enjoy a cool drink and barbecue in the evening. ‘Our’ Nyala antelope, Otto, and his relatives come by almost daily for a drink or some fresh green leaves. Welcome to your lounge between the river and the sky on your African adventure.

Villa Drakensig is a luxury holiday home for up to 4 guests. It is not without reason that this villa is called Drakensig. The house has a spectacular unobstructed view of the Little Drakensberg mountains and the sunset can be seen from the terrace.
The interior is attractive and modern African and the house is practical in design. The two master bedrooms have double beds, an ensuite bathroom with double wash basins and an outdoor showers. The living room with a lovely comfortable corner sofa is adjacent to the sunny terrace. The harmonica sliding doors can be slid away completely so that the outside and inside form a whole.
The heated swimming pool with a cozy seating area is a wonderful place for a refreshing drink. The boma, adjacent to the terrace, guarantees wonderful evenings under the clear African starry sky. A braai should not be missing in this very comfortable holiday home with a magnificent view.
All accommodations of Homes of Africa are located on Zandspruit Bush & Aero Estate (Hoedspruit, Limpopo), an area of 1000 hectares of pristine and beautiful South African bush where only guests and residents of Zandspruit Estate have free access. On Zandspruit Estate there are harmless wild animals, which means that you can come face to face with a zebra or giraffe during a walk. So you can go on a “game drive” in your own backyard!
Within 5 minutes you are in the cozy village of Hoedspruit with several fantastic restaurants, supermarkets and shops. Villa Gemoedsrus was completed in early 2019. This brand new hidden gem has a stylish design and is fully equipped. The villa is perched on Zandspruit Bush & Aero Estate and because of this location it offers you a breathtaking view of the beautiful Kleine Drakensberg, from the house, the private swimming pool and the sun terrace of 25m².
The villa has 2 bright bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and wonderful outdoor showers. The bedrooms are all pictures and furnished with an eye for detail, style and design. The luxurious open kitchen has a breakfast bar, American fridge, oven, combination microwave and dishwasher. In the utility room you will find a washing machine and dryer. The attractively furnished living room has a fireplace (very welcome for the cool winter evenings) TV and comfortable sofa. Villa Gemoedsrus offers very fast WiFi through a Fiber network.
