Villa Zandpoort is an intimate holiday home that can accommodate six people. The house has three spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms with an outdoor shower. One of the bathrooms is ensuite and equipped with a bath. There is a separate toilet. The villa stands on 10.500m² of land with a great variety of bush and beautiful trees. The birds in the trees are a feast for the eyes and ears. The boma with braai facilities is adjacent to the partially covered terrace. An ideal place for a pleasant evening in the bush under the beautiful African starry sky. There is a generator available for when the power gets off.
The living room has a rustic attractive African look, a spacious sofa, TV and fireplace for those cool winter evenings. The open kitchen is equipped with all modern conveniences, including an island with bar stools, built-in appliances and an American fridge with which you can make ice blocks. In the utility room you will find a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. In addition, the villa has a yard and carport for two cars.
From the heated private pool and extra large terrace you have a beautiful view of the Little Drakensberg and the beautiful South African nature. This gives an ultimate Africa experience. Giraffes, warthogs, impalas and other harmless animals can spontaneously surprise you with a visit. In addition to a comfortable lounge set, the covered terrace also has a nice built-in serving table where you can enjoy a drink. Unique in this villa is the wonderful Ibiza-style lounge bed.
All accommodations of Homes of Africa are located on Zandspruit Bush & Aero Estate (Hoedspruit, Limpopo), an area of 1000 hectares of pristine and beautiful South African bush where only guests and residents of Zandspruit Estate have free access. On Zandspruit Estate there are harmless wild animals, which means that you can come face to face with a zebra or giraffe during a walk. So you can go on a “game drive” in your own backyard!
Within 5 minutes you are in the cozy village of Hoedspruit with several fantastic restaurants, supermarkets and shops. Kruger National Park and Blyde River Canyon are just 40 minutes away and you can enjoy endless game drive safari in the surrounded game reserve. Villa Zandpoort is the ideal spot to discover South Africa on your own pace!

The villa is located on 10,000 m2 of private land, offers a lot of privacy and has breathtaking views of the Drakensberg Mountains. Uthando is an important word in several African languages – it means love, affection and the feeling of belonging. After traveling extensively throughout South Africa, this was exactly the feeling the owners have with Hoedspruit and Zandspruit – belonging. For them, Uthando means the love for South Africa, the friendly people, the overwhelming beauty of nature and the magnificent animals. Out of all the incredible wildlife in this Greater Kruger area, the elephants are their favorites, so that is why this majestic animal is reflected in the logo of this villa. The villa has been decorated with great care. Luxury and comfort, the use of natural materials and sustainability are central to this. The color scheme has been chosen in such a way that it fits perfectly into the environment of the African bush. The villa has a very spacious living room with double glass sliding door and mountain view and is equipped with a lovely lounge sofa and spacious dining room table.
